Neurology

Neurology is concerned with the therapy and treatment of organic conditions and disorders of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. In recent years, neurology has advanced considerably both in diagnostics and in therapy. Chronic conditions such as MS, epilepsy and peripheral neuropathies can today be treated far more effectively than was possible just a few years ago. We work on a purely scientific and evidence-based medical foundation, whilst also remaining open to, for example, off-label applications. The primary goal is always to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient.

Consultant Neurologist

Dr. Christoph Müller is a specialist in neurology.

Dr. Christoph Müller pursued his medical studies and earned his doctorate in Freiburg between 1985 and 1991, completing clinical rotations in London, Wattwil (Switzerland), and Timaru (New Zealand). Following his studies, he served as a resident physician in Internal Medicine at Friedrichshall Hospital, as well as in Neurology and Psychiatry at the Municipal Hospital Karlsruhe.

In 1997, he passed his specialist board examination in Neurology, and in 1999, he obtained additional certification in Neurological Intensive Care Medicine. From 1998 to 2001, Dr. Müller served as a Senior Physician in the Department of Neurology at the Municipal Hospital Karlsruhe.

Since 2001, he has practiced as a neurologist in private practice—until 2019 as a partner in a large group practice in Karlsruhe, and since October 2019 at his own practice in Karlsruhe-Durlach. Since the summer of 2018, Dr. Müller has also served as a consulting physician at the Max Grundig Clinic.
