Department of Urology
The Urology department of the Max Grundig Klinik stands for highly precise, modern diagnostics and individually tailored treatment of urological conditions. Our goal is to provide early clarity through structured and, wherever possible, non-invasive assessment, avoiding unnecessary interventions. A particular focus lies on precision medicine of the prostate. As the first centre in Europe to introduce Biobot technology (MonaLisa™), we are today among the leading institutions in the field of organ-preserving therapies for prostate cancer. This highly precise, robot-assisted technology enables selected tumours to be specifically identified and treated – with the aim of preserving function and quality of life to the greatest possible extent. For benign prostate enlargement too, we consistently rely on organ-preserving procedures such as adenoma enucleation, water vapour therapy (Rezūm) and gentle laser ablation. Beyond our specialisation, the full spectrum of modern urology is available to you. For complex or rare conditions, we work closely with an international group of experts to ensure the best possible therapy for every patient.
